April - May
Vestry report for 4/22
The outreach project for April was Easter flowers for parishioners who live at Aston gardens courtyards. They are to be distributed on Easter Sunday at the Aston Garden service.
The outreach project for May is Inspira Tampa bay. This is a program serving neurodivergent children, many autistic and very challenged children. This charity was started by Luz Gaona, a speech language therapist who grew up in Wimauma, her parents were migrant workers. She started her clinic in 2019, and today they are treating 300 children a week. She began Inspira Tampa bay, in 2023, a not for profit, to meet the considerable needs of the children the clinic was treating that could not be funded by Medicaid.
