The pastoral care committee assists in ministering to the sick and
the confined. Lay Eucharistic Visitors bring communion to those
unable to attend worship. The Compassionate Friends is a caring lay 
ministery that provides a reception following the funeral.

The Community Service and Outreach Committee, along with the
Women of ST. John The Divine, organizes and encourages parishioners
to serve in many volunteer ministeries. We also distribute donations
to needy organizations such as: The Lord's Lighthouse Ministery,
Good Samaritan Mission, area schools, Dominican Development Fund,
Metropolitan Ministeries, Cornerstone Kids, and community food pantries.

St. John The Divine has an ongoing fellowship program which includes Sunday
morning breakfasts, coffee hours, frequent dinners, and special events.

Dinner groups enjoy informal dinners and fellowship in small gatherings
at parishioners homes.
